Kathy Barth’s style reflects a passion for photography that began more than a decade ago and grows with each passing day. Her experience not only includes traditional wedding and family photography but also contemporary senior color & black and white photography. "I love the artistic expression that photography allows me to explore," Kathy says. "By photographing various types of events, I am constantly exploring and learning, which ultimately makes me a better photographer."

Her love, though, is wedding photography. "Every wedding is unique," she explains. "I love working with every bride and groom, and from the start I make sure that they are comfortable with me. My favorite part of a wedding begins when I take the images from their wedding day and transform them in to a beautiful wedding album that tells their very own personal love story! When a couple’s wedding day is over, the dress is put away, the flowers and cake are gone, I truly believe that the photographs I take will forever preserve their moment in time, ultimately Creating Memories to Last a Lifetime! I have a passion for capturing the small details of a wedding; the pew bows, the bride’s jewelry, the expressions of the groom when he first sees his beautiful bride…these are details that can easily be forgotten over time, but with the help of photographs, will be forever etched in their hearts when they relive these details through their wedding album.”

Kathy is a member of the Minnesota Professional Photographers Association and Professional Photographers of America. She is continually taking classes to improve her photographic technique and is currently working towards her Master of Photography Degree through The Professional Photographers of America.
